How Can I Help you?
We’ll use a science-based approach called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) to improve your sleep health as quickly as possible. CBT-I can be adapted to address most sleep challenges. A similar science-based approach is also used for anxiety, panic, worry, and OCD. If you are seeking an evaluation, we’ll design that to answer the specific question you’re trying to answer.
Where and when can sessions take place?
We can meet for therapy (or your evaluation) in my office or via telehealth on weekday afternoons, evenings, and most Saturdays.
What is my approach?
I utilize science-based therapies like Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to address sleep issues such as insomnia and anxiety disorders including worry and panic. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices.
Additionally, I incorporate Positive Psychology to help individuals identify their core values, create effective change strategies, and leverage their strengths for motivation as they progress toward a fulfilling life.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURERANCE
I work for you, not an insurance company. An insurance company employee will not “manage” your care. After each meeting, you’ll get a statement to seek insurance reimbursement if you wish. My clients tell me they get part of the fees reimbursed, especially if you have Tricare.
